More about Tiarna
My psychology training began in Cairns, Far North Queensland, where I completed an internship with Disability Services (prior to the rollout of the NDIS), supporting families affected by early childhood developmental delays and complex disability and mental health presentations. I went on to work as a Child and Family Counsellor, offering therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families, and children — including those in statutory care.
After relocating to the Gold Coast, I joined the Medibank Telehealth team, delivering support through the Beyond Blue Support Service and 1800 RESPECT. I’ve also worked within private practices, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), and delivered alcohol and drug rehabilitation programs for Queensland Corrective Services.
Most recently, I’ve worked with Australian Defence Force (ADF) veterans and their families, supporting them with a range of emotional and psychological challenges.
